Well, it's not very sexy or sporty. I wanted my sons first vehicle to have a lot of steel between him and the other cars. A little beer can might be cheaper to run but would have put him closer in an accident. An SUV was our choice for him as well as our friends choice for their daughter. Both kids had fender benders they did not cause and both walked away unharmed. A smaller vehicle would have changed that.
