Worst sequals EVER!

Although its not the worst sequel ever I think Spiderman 2 is a good example of how powerful hype can be because in all honesty the movie is about 2 and a half hours long and 1 hour of it is complete garbage. It's hyped as the years best action movie and Jay Leno even put it in the same conversation as Oscar Potential, but at least 2/3's of the movie is a love story. The effects etc are great but a lot of them pointless.

Back to the future 2 and 3 was good but not as good as 1
Terminator 2 was better then 1 but 3 was worse.
American pie 1 was better then 2 and 3
 
I have often felt that Back to the Future 2 works best when seen in conjuction with the first.
Agreed that T3 was the worst of the 3 but it was a decent nuts and bolts action movie with (for mainstream Hollywood) a surprisingly downbeat ending.
 
Spy KiRAB 3D: Game Over. The director thought we'd be paying far too much attention to the 3D effects that we wouldn't notice the bad actors or pointless story and the way absolutly non of the film made the slightest bit of sense.
 
lord of the rings 2 was the best one
followed by 3
the first was so boring too much time setting scene which i understand had to be done
 
I quite like BBTF2, probably cos Elijah's in it! I don't like the third however, its totally squewed.

Bad sequels ey? I have to agree with Jurassic Parks sequels..... esp. Lost World. AWFUL.

Let me see, hmmm..... scary movie ones get progressively crapper and more crude. and the first one was awful anyway!
 
Final Destination 2 :mad: - pure tripe

Final Destination 1 was fantastic, most of us in the cinema jumped out of our seats when you saw the plane exploding in the background and then the window smashing!
 
Strange that - I thought the original was over-hyped and I was disappointed. By the second installment, I knew what to expect and I enjoyed the movie a lot more as a result.
 
Jurrasic park 2 and 3 were brilliant! And they worked because they are making a 4th one (but the 4th will defenetly be the last :( ) Scary movie - if you like that sort of thing are superb. I thought scary movie 2 was better than the first one!

Anyway - the worst sequel off all time - and if you don't beleive me...simply rent / buy them. The movie "The attack of the killer tomatoes" was mildly entertaining - even funny in bits. however "the return of the killer tomatoes" was the most awful film i have ever seen to date.
 
The Matrix sequels probably (have to admit to never watching Pt 3). In terms of quality drop between the first film and the sequel, definitely.

I actually thought "return of the killer tomatoes" was the better of the two. :D
 
The worst sequel was The Crow: City of angels it was a disgrace, it was such a rip off of the first, all they changed was dead girlfriend to dend son
