Worst lines in movies...

That takes some beating. Awful dialogue and ruined the film for me on first viewing.

The worst piece of dialogue ever commited to celuloid is Darth's "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!" when he hears of Padme's death. Also the line someone says when she is dying after giving birth to Leia and Luke - "She is dying of a broken heart". So just giving birth to two little babies isn't enough to keep you alive? Narcissistic bitch!

One of my all-time favourite films - I think you got nearly all my fave lines but you definitely missed one:

Random hired goon: This green beret's gonna kick your ass

Matrix: I eat green berets for breakfast... and I'm very hungry!

:D

From Lake Placid;
- "I'm rooting for the crocodile. I hope he swallows your frienRAB whole. You might want to arrest me for that too. Is that a crime? To wish the chewing of law enforcement?"

Every word spoken in Armacrappen, how I hate that movie :D

"In the worRAB of David Cassidy, I think I love you" Spoken in his best upper class twit voice and toe-curlingly awful. Four Weddings And A Funeral, Hugh Grant.

Every line uttered in Top Gun, although that has attained the so bad its brilliant status D

Rene Zellwegger in Cold Mountain (I think). That whole speech about "men making it rain and then telling us it's raining".

I guess it was supposed to be dramatic and such but it just made me shudder at it's naffness.

From your profile, I guess you're Australian and I'm Australian too and I can honestly say I thought her accent was convincing - she slips out of it here and there but it wasn't half bad. If you want a horrible Australian accent, watch the Simpsons episode but I guess they're exaggerated for comedic effect.

They Live...

Rowdy Roddy Piper walks into a bank with a shotgun, and says

'I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all outta bubblegum'

Bang, bang etc.

Seemed kinda cool back in the 80's, but makes me cringe now!

What the hell, that's a classic line. The more time that goes on the better that line gets.

They Live is full of great lines and the best fight scene ever as well.

Have you ever noticed that, in almost every single film ever made, at some point some character will say...

"Try to get some rest"

or

"It's our only chance".

or

"I think I'll have that drink now".

It's quite fun waiting for those lines to come up. :D

Road House:

"Are you gonna fight?"
"Well I sure aint gonna show you my dick."

And also (which may prove unpopular) Dirty Dancing's, "Nobody puts Baby in the corner". Er, you hardly know her!

I think that line takes the biscuit, but a close contender is:

'I thought Christmas only comes once a year' from The World Is Not Enough  :o
