Worst Gory Movies - Sky One

Not seen this series - the dumbed down title puts me off - and it's on Sky One so it's bound to be an insult to the intelligence, but given discussions on here about horror/sicko movies, I thought you might like to know it's on tonight Monday 09 Aug.

Well that wasn't nearly as dumb as I thought it was going to be. Some parts of it, though, I had to turn away from.

And for once the jokey commentary was quite welcome - you needed a bit of light relief!

Weird that the narrator (Nick Frost) announced that The Beyond was the last Cannibal movie of the night, only for it to be followed up by Cannibal Ferox. Whoops! SounRAB like a last minute edit job to me. Given that Ferox was easily the most disturbing film of the night, they'd probably moved it to later in the show.

Not surprised. Eugh.

And what was Emily Booth doing on the show? All was revealed - literally - when a totally obscure british movie Cradle of Fear suddenyl turned up - starring...Emily Booth.

Well I've never heard of the movie. Anybody else...?

yes, i have it on dvd, its a great british "gore" film, low budget but enjoyable.
It was really a vehicle to promote Dani Filth from the brit rock group "cradle of filth" hence the given name of the film "cradle of fear".
Its written and directed by Alex Chandon, and is a collection of 4 stories that all have a connection.
Its well worth looking for IMHO. plus as allready stated, it has the added attraction of emily booth in it (credited as emily bouffante)

Where did you get the DVD from I have had a quick look for it but was unable to find it.
As for the show it was good I own nearly all the films on video and after the show ordered Story of Ricky as I had heard of it previously but forgotten the name. I was also unsure wether to buy Battle Royale but after seeing the clips I have ordered it. :D
