Worst films of 2005

I liked that movie.

Elizabethtown was a stinker for me.

"Team America". Completely unfunny. It was based on two jokes: (a) puppets! (b) because they are puppets they can do explicit sex and violence that wouldn't be allowed for live actors. I loved "South Park - the Movie", but this was rubbish.

You're right. Didn't really see the appeal of Team America myself. Loved South Park and BASEketball though.

Agree. Most overrated film of the year. Talked up by the critics, e.g. Mark Kermode, who loved it, but the public voted with their feet. Obvious and predictable from the beginning. Amusing performance by William Hurt but generally very disappointing.

The biggest turkey was Alexander, total rubbish from beginning to end with laughable casting.

Was Ocean's 12 this year? If it was then it's the top of my list.

Mr and Mrs Smith wasn't much cop, not the worst of the year but definitely one that people said was brilliant but just wasn't.

My worst films of 2005 would be History of Violence - it was such a let-down after the trailer and what I read about it - and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - disappointment because it was basically a boring, unfunny kiddies' fim.
