Worst Film

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - this was just completely boring and just crap!

The School of Rock - funny in some places, but not really interesting.
 
The Exorcist is considered by many in the movie industry, and moviegoers, to be the best horror picture ever made. Great acting performances, great cinematography and great screenplay.

Overall, in my opinion, the best horror movie ever made, unlike those of today that help the viewer along with cliches, silly and obvious story lines, and over the top effects just to remind you about what it is you are watching.

I've noticed younger people of today don't seem to be able to appreciate that movie. How old are you, if you don't mind my asking?

I will agree with you on the Crow. I haven't seen the others you mentioned.
 
Strange enough I haven't seen the first one and frankly I don't wanna after that fiasco of a sequel!

I haven't seen the South Park movie. Ironically I just ordered it from an Austrailian DVD site, for just around a tenner including shipping. I hope it isn't as bad as you say. Guess it'll be worth a look, its only cost me a tenner anyway. Plus one's opinion can differ from another's.
 
true that. my brother and sister loved it, i hated it. just a matter of opinion. as Gopher said. too many songs in it. i personally dont like films full of singing. it was amusing in parts but overall...... :(

Anyway, to answer the question, "calendar girls" - quite easily the most boring film I've ever seen, bar none :( . - it hadn't even been made when this thread was started
 
South Park is fantastic!! One of the most intelligent films with real issues under the comedy. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have a habbit of doing that. The film is basically all about censorship and the hypocrasy of Middle America, accepting violence but hating bad language. The songs are cool too, I have the album, it's SUPPOSED to be like a Disney film, that's one of the jokes, it's a PARODY!!!

The Talented Mr Ripley is superb! IMHO anyway!
 
Why is there any debate - this to be the worst mainstream sequal is existence :-

SCREAM 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I screamed so much when I saw it - in embarrasment at having seen such a piss poor film. I borrowed it off a mate and still felt cheated watching it.

Any poor bastard who spent any money watching this so called movie deserves everybody's sympathy.

Wes Craven and the whole cast should be arrested and charged for fraud for releasing this dire, dire movie.

And the first two were so good as well!!!
 
If you read the back of the DVD case before watching it you would know anyway. I bought this thinking it would be good, read the back of the case before playing it and said to my girlfriend "Wait a minute, is he a ghost himself?" and she said "Yes, have you see it before then?".

There was no point in watching it after that.

i'm sure only males 'get' this - maybe it has subliminal messages that only they can hear/see.
 
Probably the worst film ever : Face/Off

Its totally unbelievable, the special effects are impressive, but the sory line is non-existant and the acting is terrible. John Travoltar should have been crucified for doing that film. A black spot, no check that, a Black Hole in his career... Just what was he thinking... Broken Arrow was such a better film, and Phenomenon... wow! what a soundtrack... Nick Cage... Your work is great, but you should have been shot in the head for taking Face/Off, were you feeling a little bored??? Skint??? needed work, ANY WORK??? What can I say, man, except think twice... Glad to seeyou have redeemed yourself since then with Bringing Out The Dead, Gone in 60 SeconRAB (another fantastic soundtrack my the way...), ConAir, The Rock...

Two Tremendous actors who I respect a great deal, one pish film...
