Worst Film You've Ever Sat through....

Don't lose 4 hours of your life like I did. Totally avoid 'Epic Movie' - it's not funny, badly acted and the films they were parodying were rubbish themselves. I walked out on that one and caused a mass exodus of people not wanting to be the first ones!
The second is 'The life aquatic with Steve Zissou'. I was invited to a friend's house to watch this one - we haven't spoken since!

Constantine with Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz - totally confused the hell out of me  so I quickly lost interest!! And even worse was the fact that I ended up sitting through it twice!! FrienRAB - who'd have them? :D

Velvet Goldmine.

God, how I wish I could unsee that turgid mess.

And props to Hitchhikers Guido to the Galaxy, for burning my eyes with awfulness, and messing up a story that was worked in every other genre (Radio, Book and TV).

Shark Boy and Lava Girl was pretty awful, and last week I had to endure Cats and Dogs 2 - the joys of being a mum!

The Women was pretty dire and The Lake House was soooo dull. I had high expectations for both of them too.

Mega Shark -v- Giant Octopus!

This film is so bad that I actually like it for that very reason.

I cannot believe that this film was ever commissioned.

I think it deserves a cult following for being so awful!!

No, I just don;t think people are giving it enough consideration.

There are films I don't like, and think are a load of old rubbish, like Independence Day or Silence Of The Lambs, but I can still aprreciate that they are better films than, say, 'The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane' or 'Over Her Dead Body'. They were real stinkers.

As per the poster above, I think Highlander 2 wins any 'Worst Film' polls, hanRAB down. What a complete mess, I've never seen the like.

The Thin Red Line had me gnawing my own leg off waiting for it to end. And an honourable mention to Shallow Grave which was just sh*t, hateful and a complete waste of everyone's time.

This is exactly what I was trying to get at earlier.

There are plenty of films I don't like, but often I can see that they have some merit, if viewed objectively. This thread is just a list of films people don't like, not a list of the worst films they've ever sat through. Good examples on here are the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hurt Locker. Perhaps not to the person's taste, but surely not the worst film they've ever sat through!

Lawnmower Man 2
The Dark Knight
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
Solaris (on DVD)
Mama Mia*
Sex and the City*

*Dragged there by my wife

High School Musical. Was forced to watch the DVD to be nice to the girl I was babysitting -.-

And Broken Flowers! I made myself continue watching it as I was curious how it would end up! Worst ending ever! WTF!

The only thing remotely scary about that film was that we were told it was based on 'true events' & it played on out basic fear of hearing noise in your home in the middle of the night.

It just didn't do anything for me & I shall not be making a beeline for the sequel.
