Worst film of 2004

Open Water. I know it was a low budget but could have been way better.
Troy was way over rated too.
Also very disappointed with Ladykillers.
 
I know exactly what you mean.

I don't 'get' people slagging off some of these big name movies... Its not as if your not getting what you payed for. Most of the listed do exactly what they say on the tin.

Eternal sunshine requires some life experience to appreciate it. I know many people that would class this as their best film of 04!

'The Incredibles' was awesome, such a smart and lavish movie.

'Troy' was a severe, severe let down condidering the stars, the budget and the story it was telling. 'Van Helsing', again, was braindead too. :yawn:
 
I cant believe so many people are saying that Hellboy was one of the worst films of 2004 as I really enjoyed it so much that I bought the directors cut DVD from Region 1!
I cant believe Spooky210 thought Starsky and Hutch was one of the worst films of 2004 as I thought it was one of the funniest films along with Anchorman and Dodgeball!
My worst films were Catwoman, Eurotrip and House Of The Dead as these were perfect examples of awful film making and were a waste of my life watching them!
 
Omg! House of the dead. Awful. Definitely my worst.

I was disappointed with Day After Tomorrow. Most overhyped.

I also defend The Grudge, one of my favourites of 2004
 
I know what you mean ... I had to keep my eyes closed for most of the film to stop myself being sick ... what were they thinking with those camera movements?!!
 
Yes, but a disappointing and bad film is still a disappointing and bad film.

Anyway, If we were to say, "Hey that 'Briggy Jones' film is a pile of old pants so I'm not going to see it" people would say that we weren't giving it a fair go - damned if you do, damned if you don't ;)

Another stinker this year was 'Spiderman 2' ... *feels the animosity build around him*
