Worst film of 2004

While I don't think The Incredibles is by any stretch of imagination the worst film of 2004 I am of the opinion that it is the worst of all Pixar's efforts. That's not to say its bad. I enjoyed it (as did my six year old daughter), just not as much as Pixar's other films.

Hmm... I agree to a certain extent.

I think the beginnning of the story shows promise. The idea of exiled Superheroes and the reasons was excellent Pixar, but in the end it just turned into a 'stop the bad guy, save the day' movie which we've all seen before.

And don't you agree that Mr incredible DEFINATELY got it on with the 'storm' like woman from the corporation?

I can't believe people said that Eternal Sunshine... was thier wrost film 0f 2004 - it was a classic! very cleverly filmed and a great story!!

For utter rubbish last year two spring to mind-

Garfield - i cant believe i even watched this on dvd ( in fact we turned it off after bout 40 mins.)
Day After Tomorrow - it was independence day with weather. pure tripe- i mean what was that being chased by ice down a coridoor about!! truely awful!

That is coming out as a rental DVD in the near future and i put it on my list, so i have been warned eh? shame it looked good in whatever review i saw...ah well I will reserve judgment for now as I havent seen it.
i haven't been to the cinema AT ALL this year, i tend to not go unless there is an OUTSTANDING film. Most of the talentless dross they churn out these days isnt worth going to see. The only exception i would have made to this would have been for 'Beyond The Sea' as Kevin spacey is a particular favourite of mine, also possessing a decent modicum of talent!
ho hum, will wait for DVD as I missed it [working:(]

erm was honey out this year because that was complete bs apart from the little girl in the photo wiv bunchis, she was cute! erm of this year was probably i robot. its because i mainly go to see films i want to see and my mates dragged me to that one, it wasnt necessarily bad, just the worst ive seen this year. of all time is definately slap her shes french that was complete bs!

I totally agree with you about Day after Tommorrow. I felt underwhelmed when watching that film. Some of the characters in that film were laughable.

I managed to avoid most of the bad films mentioned, but then when I see the trailers I pretty much make up my mind.

I mean, its not difficult to see that Garfield would be a bad film without seeing the whole thing and wasting money.

Having seen the Garfield trailer can someone please let me know which bit inspired you to go and watch it, same goes for ThunderbirRAB, Wimbledon etc etc.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was great, dont diss it :) My worst was probably the grudge which was very poor as was thunderbirRAB. Ohh and the Terminal which actually started off god unti CZJ turned up, and it decended into worst of the decade teritory.

I agree about The Bourne Supremacy - I've never experienced motion sickness from a film before till this one. Plus I just didn't really care what happened to any of the characters. I missed quite a few films this year and didn't go to anything that I didn't think I'd like (funnily enough!), but this one was my worst.

Nobody seen ALEXANDER yet?

I tell you right now, don't watch it. I just went to see it some days ago and it was definately the worst crap of the year. Well, crap isn't enough of an expression for that.

The most stupid dialogues i ever heard, a story you can't get with and which just serves as an alibi for lots of bloody battles and exaggeratedly emotional talking, always between boring and ridiculous. :o

A sad final of this year's cinema, but luckily I also went watching some really good stuff in 2004, for example Almodovar's "Mala Educaci

I loved it and will be ordering it from play.com after Christmas. I never saw Joaquin Pheonix as a romantic lead type actor until that movie.
