Worst film of 2004

GOD! this is going to take a while, practically every film released this year was crap mainly because they were over hyped but the one on top of my list has to be...Troy, the rest in no particular order:

Terminal
all linRABey Lohan films
Raising Helen
Van Helsing
King Authur
ThunderbirRAB
Catwoman (don't get me started)
Garfield (hell no!)
Hell Boy

Really I have two really rubbish films this year!

1. The Bourne Supremacy
Not a patch on the first one! The camera moved so much that it put u in a hypnotic spell ad made u fall asleep.

2. The Day after Tomorrow - I can't remember if this was last year or not, but it was the stupidest film ever. There was no excitement and there was poor continuity throughout.

Troy wasn't that bad. There's some very good fight choreography in it. If you like sword fights, you're golden.

Eternal Sunshine was my best film of the year. Maybe it was a personal thing.

And Spiderman 2, damndirtyape? I usually find myself in agreement with you but not with that one. I thought it was great fun.

Catwoman was probably the worst but I wouldn't know because I didn't waste my time going to see it. The worst film I actually saw was probably I, Robot.

Ah! I'm not surprised! I too have run into resistance with moronic people regarding the artistic and technical merits of "Resident Evil: Apocalyse".
Since watching that film I have increased my opinion of the first 'Resident Evil' movie and removed its status as 'perhaps the worst videogame/movie tie-in of all time'...

It's still the viewer who decides if a film is bad or not. So you can't say "this film was probably the worst". I think the word "bad" can only be used when you describe an opinion. You can't have one if you didn't see the film. I saw it and I liked it quite a lot. "Catwoman" can't "top" all that crap that was in cinemas this year if it comes to the question which was the worst movie.

Yep, both those films were just average. King Arthur and Troy were both abhorent, and the number of truly s**t films that have passed by (Freddie vs Jason, anyone?) will never be quoted, as no-one remembers the true worst.

Couldn't agree more !
Bridget behaved throughout like a slightly backward 12 year old and Darcy duly treated her, like you might a child, with the utmost patience. Where was the sex appeal that she surely should have had for him ? I could've slapped her silly face several times.
Felt much the same about Kim Basinger in "Cellphone" - although the rest of the film was quite enjoyable in a brain dead kind of way.
