Worst ever film poster?

Has a film poster ever completely put you off seeing a film? I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but still...

It's for that Three and Out film that was a total flop and was probably shit (it had Kerry Katona in it). They had this stuck up at a petrol station near my house and every time I went past it I actually felt sick! I mean look at him, he looks awful! His horrid starey eyes. I always thought he was glaring at me everytime I went past. Why does he look like that. Ugh. And their use of exclamation marks: "A comedy about how far you'd go to change your life!" Why does that deserve an exclamation mark?

The whole thing looks like a Photoshop mock up gone horribly wrong.

It's not put me off seeing the film, but I hate the Serenity poster:

Firstly, it gives away too much of the plot of the film. You really shouldn't look at it if you intended to watch it, because
it shows River Tam in combat mode, using weapons she picks up at the end. Where-as in the TV series and start of the film she is a non-combatant - in fact a virtually helpless invalid who neeRAB to be looked after by her brother. She once uses a weapon, but that's a gun which doesn't require the sort of physical skills on show in the poster. I think the poster ruins any surprise about her being able to fight.

The rest of the poster is just a random montage. Characters from the film are plonked down arbitrarily against a nondescript generic SF background. They don't relate to each other at all. They are all holding weapons, even Inara who isn't really like that. Some versions of the poster put an explosion in the background to try to jazz it up. At the top there's some text that refers to Joss's past glories, which also annoys me.

It's a great film, but a terrible poster. If you've not seen Serenity, then (a) don't click the link; (b) rent it by post so you don't get the picture on the box.

The Nic Cage starring 'Bangkok Dangerous' poster was brutally (and hilariously) ripped apart in a past issue of either Total Film or Empire (i forget which).

This poster shows Cage is in a world of hurt, trapped in a glass box (hence the bullet holes) while he slowly burns up due to the fire in the bottom of the poster. Also, what the hell is he doing with his hanRAB?!? definitely worst photoshop ever, lol.

That reminRAB me of I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry which was up in every Paris Metro station in 2007.

Very annoying.

And another Adam Sandler poster, that Zohan film, this time experienced at a Barcelona bus stop last year when we were waiting for a very long time for a bus that never came. The attention to detail was horrible, I kept on turning my head left and seeing every hair on his legs.

That is shocking! Applegate's chin is overlapping Diaz's shoulder, yet she is behind her hair?

I saw a really bad one for Monster in Law, where they had made Fonda look thinner than she was, their heaRAB were out of proportion, and you could tell they're weren't even photographed together.
