worried about my daughter

Hi, M daughter is 34 years old and she has always been fairly healthy. About 3 weeks ago she complained to me of dizzy spells and what she called brain fog. She also was seeing like flashing lights. My hubby took her to the ER and they thought she might be having an occular migraine. Anyway, the doctor in the ER put in a referral to a neurologist. She has had the dizzy spells off and on for 3 weeks, some days are better than others. She went in today and they could find nothing wrong with her eyes or ears or reflexes. They think it may be migraine related but they said that is a long time for a migraine so she has to go back in 4 days for an MRI. He said there is something going on but he is not sure what it is. I am so worried. She also has carpal tunnel and she quit taking Chantix about a month ago. Could it be caused by Chantix withdrawal? Please, please someone write back. I am real worried. Thank you.

Hi

I would ask the Dr's to check for Meniere's disease, I see that she's been checked, but the dizzyness is a very strong symptom

God Bless

I'm sorry to hear your daughter is going through so much, it might be possible that she has Meniere's which is an inner ear issue.

the dizzy and other symptoms are very typical of that . that is how I was diagnosed..

the MRI should give them and you a better answer, but if it is meniere's it can be treated

Hi guys,

Really sad to hear about your daughter.Particular disease have a particular feature so do not worry and give courage to her so that she can be mentally strong and have some test so that the disease can be identified.I hope she will get well soon.

Thanks
Mark.
