Hi, I had an injury of my right shoulder 2 1/2 years ago at work and have been on a continuous rollercoaster of different medications, physio, psychiatrists, psychologists, alternative treatments, surgery, and smaller procedures. After this time frame my left shoulder has now given in and hurts a lot from over use and I get a lot of neck pain and pain in the back of my head. I've been to many orthopaedic specialists and neurologists and have been told there is nerve damage there but they aren't willing to risk the surgeries to fix it as the risks are too high. None of the doctors or specialists can tell me exactly why I am suffering so much pain and say I shouldn't be. Because of all this and not knowing, I now suffer from depression and anxiety.
Medications before the current ones were antenex 5mg twice a day morning and night, Prestiq 100mg once per day and endone 10mg 3 times per day. After I started the Prestiq, it sent me almost catatonic and I was going for periods of nearly 3 days without sleep and even then only getting disturbed periods of 1-2 hours at a time. So they changed me to Luvox 100mg morning and night, still with the same amount of antenex and endone.
Now getting to the point of this post, I have been on endone 5mg in different doses for over a year now, and up until now they have made me really pick up and given me an energy spurt, recently with a change of other medications (Luvox), I am finding that taking the endone 10mg, I am completely wiped and and terribly lethargic and needing to go to sleep. This has only occurred since taking the Luvox, and even though I have brought this up with my physician and psychiatrist, they want me to keep taking the Luvox and don't seem to think that is what is causing the problems. I'm at my wits end, some days sleeping up to 16 hours a day and have a family I should be with. If I take any less of the endone it doesn't touch the pain at all, so I'm stuck, lost and more depressed than ever. I'm hoping someone out there can help me please.
