World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

This reminRAB me of a similar incident that happened during the actual RR.I can't remember what RR it was but you could clearly hear Trevor Murdoch shout on RVD a couple of times.

I was just happy to see Gail being used constructively again, to be honest, instead of doing the useless Bellas job and being the armpiece for the guest star :)

She definitely botched throwing that bucket though :D

Myself personally I thought last night Michael Cole hasn't quite got the hang of being a heel yet, he was going awfully OTT in parts and it made him sound like a bit of a buffoon

Then again what's new with Cole :p

No real stand out matches at all and the battle royal just felt out of place with Bragging Rights so very close

The guest star as usual sucked, were they booing him or this whole stale run its course guest host/star gimmick

Still at least we saw the titles twice in one night, and hopefully Nattie will win on Sunday

And good on Teddy for taking away the laptop, at least we didn't have to listen to those annoying bleeps

Several WWE stars have privately indicated in recent weeks that they are contemplating leaving the organization

Oh god

It's my ex's twin sister!!

Seriously my ex and Vickie share the same attiributes...

Loud, annoying, like to be centre of attention at all times, squeaky voiced, big, same hair, same way of dressing... I could go on lol :D

I do too, although for different reasons. As well as Monday Night Football and the start of the autumn TV season, Raw (and WWE in general) is up against the baseball postseason at the moment - they went against a significant Yankees game last night.

I expect some Raw viewers from the baseball heartlanRAB of the US will always turn over to watch the conclusion of that sport's season at this time of year, but will be back watching Raw once the baseball is done - there is no game scheduled for next Monday although it could be Game 5 of the World Series (should it go that far) the week after that. The season is over by November 8th.

Expect Raw's ratings to receive a real boost from January onwarRAB. Not only do we start on the Road to WrestleMania with the build-up towarRAB the Royal Rumble, but the ratings juggernaut that is the NFL's Monday Night Football's annual run will be over by the turn of the year. Raw will naturally shed viewers between September to December because of the huge popularity of the NFL.

If you haven't watched it how do you know it sucks? :p ;)

In all seriousness though, as someone who was a big fan of NXT Seasons One and Two, NXT Three was always going to be a step down...but in many respects it is a relief they are not going down the male superstars route again, as they've already put 12 new guys from NXT on the main roster as it is.

I agree with you that the mix of pros isn't very good, and like NXT Season Two, there's been little interaction between pros and rookies save for Vickie Guerrero and Goldust. Which is a shame as that was one of the main highlights of NXT Season One.

Having caught up with the series, while it's not great by any means neither is it quite the car crash that some have made it out to be.

One of Naomi or AJ is obviously going to win - can't decide which one at the moment though. Naomi is the more athletic and impressive in the ring (although apparently she has little wrestling experience), but is a tad dull while AJ's the more all-round package - cute, likeable personality, lifelong fan, has wrestled on the indie scene for quite a while. Both will make decent divas IMO.

I think both Kaitlyn and Aksana will be called up to the main roster once NXT Three is done too - both have ongoing storylines to keep them on, Aksana due to her on-screen "engagement" to Goldust, Kaitlyn due to her prospective relationship with Dolph Ziggler (I reckon she'll eventually be put with Dolph after her elimination and his inevitable "break-up" with Vickie).

Jamie Keyes was the right choice for the first one to go, she didn't impress me much at all and I get the impression she was chosen to make up the numbers thanks to her experience as the NXT Season Two ring announcer. With Lillian Garcia gone, they need a new female ring announcer to sing the national anthem etc so I reckon they'll just keep her off TV (bar the season finale) for the time being and reintroduce her in that role at some point in 2011.

Which leaves Maxine, who will obviously be the next one to be eliminated - she's won no matches or challenges yet and her promos have been badly received too. I've noticed she seems really uncomfortable in the heel role - when you see her in the line-ups for challenges she's smiling and has a pleasant vibe, contradicting her character.

My conclusion is she might have some potential in the future, but simply isn't ready for TV yet - similar to Lucky Cannon, Eli Cottonwood and Titus O'Neill on NXT Season Two, all of whom looked uncomfortable, failed to impress and went out early.

A Diva season of NXT (especially as they knew it was leaving TV mid-run) is a good idea though, the Diva division is seriously lacking characters people care about and they could potentially have four good new divas on their hanRAB. On SmackDown, Laycool have no one left to compete against and the Raw diva roster is not a great deal better. Whatever you think of the show, at least the end result will be that they will have a few clearly defined, reasonably built-up characters coming into the division that the fans have been given a reason to care about.

Hope they rest NXT until they find a new TV deal for it after Season Three is complete though - take it off the air until at least after WrestleMania in my view. I'm sure there's a few competent newcomers in FCW ready to go onto TV right now, but judging by Season Two's line-up I struggle to believe they'll be 6 to 8 wrestlers in this boat at the moment and they have a big enough roster as it is.

Additional note

For some reason it says nothing about the segment with Kane-Taker leading to Bearer saying there will be a Buried Alive challenge for the Undertaker at Bragging Rights.

There is particular anger at

Kaval getting shafted again, to Tyler Reks of all people, when has he ever been on SD, if at all?

Yeah,I guess so.Just seems a bit overkill having 2 elmination matches in the run up to the PPV designed for them!

Wonder if Nexus' "bigger picture" (Triple H?) will be unveiled at that PPV.

I hope your right I've seen the Undertaker's character evolve over the years and he always gets the better of his opposition in the end. I don't like what WWE have done with the character they seem to have weakend him like never before.

And then Cena costs Barrett the championship with a non- count out? Leading to a massive feud or my preferred route being the fact Cena helps Barrett finally turns him into a heel.

This match shall be the highlight once again.
