You should look at people like Randy Orton and John Cena if you wanna talk about frequent title changes and all of them in the last 5 years. The title is just a prop. They don't win anything, the promoter gives them it! Vince owns the belt, not the wrestler. So WWE is trying to sell me something that is blatantly not real and try and sell it to me as if it is real? I'm supposed to sit and watch countless comedy portions of the show and things that would never happen in real life then believe that a world title means something? It's meant nothing for a long time because there are no wrestling stars anymore. People don't pay to see the world champion defend his title, they pay to see the almighty WWE!!!!!!! Doesn't matter who's on the card, it's the WWE you pay to see. You buy them months and months in advance not because of the champion.......but because it is WWE!!!!!! I'll give Vince credit, he is very clever. He sells his version of wrestling as an experience. When you buy a WWE ticket you don't pay to see a certain match, you pay for the experience. You pay for the pyro and the lighting and the stages and it's all one big show.
I watched this weeks Impact hours before it aired on Spike TV and i thought it was alright. I found Eric Bischoff hilarious. The show was fun. The wrestling was fun too.
