World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

It is true that they will turn voters away if they are wearing any WWE merchandise and is completely illegal for Linda to use WWE as way to encourage people to vote for her.

Made a mistake this morning, it was Melina who got pinned not Gail

Never the less, you have to wonder what some of the Divas have done wrong to be put on the sidelines while we get force-fed McTaker and Layla

Is it an unwritten rule that they are not allowed to lose to anyone who can actually wrestle?

You should look at people like Randy Orton and John Cena if you wanna talk about frequent title changes and all of them in the last 5 years. The title is just a prop. They don't win anything, the promoter gives them it! Vince owns the belt, not the wrestler. So WWE is trying to sell me something that is blatantly not real and try and sell it to me as if it is real? I'm supposed to sit and watch countless comedy portions of the show and things that would never happen in real life then believe that a world title means something? It's meant nothing for a long time because there are no wrestling stars anymore. People don't pay to see the world champion defend his title, they pay to see the almighty WWE!!!!!!! Doesn't matter who's on the card, it's the WWE you pay to see. You buy them months and months in advance not because of the champion.......but because it is WWE!!!!!! I'll give Vince credit, he is very clever. He sells his version of wrestling as an experience. When you buy a WWE ticket you don't pay to see a certain match, you pay for the experience. You pay for the pyro and the lighting and the stages and it's all one big show.

I watched this weeks Impact hours before it aired on Spike TV and i thought it was alright. I found Eric Bischoff hilarious. The show was fun. The wrestling was fun too.

I prefer Nexa or Nexna!!

Hope it's not bad tonight, better keep off Twitter tomorrow morning too, I'm following a couple from here now, and I bet they'll be twitwhoring tonight  ;)

When does WWE peak? Obviously it's pumped at RR-WM time, is that when it's really at the heighest point of the year? Or do they tend to try and have the peak from it's season premier in September?

What did he say about it? Just watching the triple threat match at Bound for Glory, the double ankle lock was quite something and the moves of Angle & Hardy still impress. Shame they aren't in the WWE anymore.

Does anyone else not like elimination tag matches on other PPV's apart from Survivor Series?

It gave the Survivor Series PPV a unique feel, knowing that this style of match was a special once in a year event, now we're going to have the second 7 on 7 elimination match in a 2 month period.

I'd only base 4 PPV's around a gimmick each year. Royal Rumble, Extreme Rules (if it was the one night of the year where blood and attitude era violence was allowed) King of the Ring (if they ever bring it back) and Survivor Series. Also, I'd have one Raw and Smackdown exclusive PPV each year.

That's not to say there wouldn't be gimmick matches on other PPV's, just that every PPV wouldn't be based around them.

Is the Wrestlemania special that will air on Sky later this week the same one that was shown on NBC in the US a couple of months ago?

Don't think anyone is going to care who wins the brand match to be honest given the silent treatment it has received thus far :D

WWE is going through a sticky patch at the moment even though Vince won't admit it publicly
