World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

But Orlando Jordan, Eric Young, Abyss, The Shore, et al are great characters? You appear to be much more pro-TNA and anti-WWE, which is fine, but to bash WWE for the sake of it is a bit stupid. Over the past six years you've had Cena evolve from wigger wannabe to most over face in the company, Orton go from strength to strength after beating Foley to a pulp, Edge break out as an opportunistic theif, King Booker, Regal the Tyrant (until he was suspended, he was on a roll), JBL, Batista the calm collected big man who was always logical and great as a heel, CM Punk, The Miz, HHH (if you're going back 10 years, 2000-09 saw title reigns 2 to 14 or whatever he's on now) and countless others.

Sometimes lacking / not to your liking? Sure, why not. Pathetic? Not at all.

Cena vs JBL lasted for three months - Cena vs Edge however over the course of six intense months and still existing as an on off thing is awesome.

It's not only what he wants, keeping the TV-PG rating is a key part of the 5 year deal they signed with Mattel. It's generating a ton of money for them, so will stay. That's not to say the program can't get edgier and still be PG though.

They just signed Tyler Black from ROH, and have a few good guys down there (Brett DiBiase being one). I expect the NXT format to end completely though, as USA network is apparently on the verge of bringing back "Tough Enough", which ran from 2001 to 2004, giving us Maven, Morrison and The Miz amongst some other less successful guys (and Josh Matthews, who turned out to be a half decent presenter).

They're slowing turning Zack Ryder into a comedy face. He has an amusing, sympathetic quality about him: "You really hurt my feelings". The tool. :D

It would have been a good idea to put him in the Bragging Rights team rather than Santino to instigate the turn, an opportunity missed.

Hooray!! :D:D

Never saw that one coming. :p:p

Well that actually would be a loss. Will miss Edge if he goes. Anyone notice they move Edge to Smackdown opening the possibility of Christian vs Edge which we all want and then Christian gets injured. :( Great timing.

He comes across as a real tw*t doesn't he. :o Obviously he'll end up on TNA.

I would if he is that serious and passionate for wrestling that he would willingly let his hair be shaven off. Let them do it I say.

For once WWE are persevering with a push. They've only been around (as Nexus) since June, and some of the booking as been questionable but being around for less than five months isn't long!

The Divas division will be on life support until WWE starts getting trained wrestlers and not models on the roster NXT may address this but I won't hold my breath

Two reasons: It's 20 years since their fathers had a high profile feud and Goldust has been given a push due to him releasing his autobiography soon.

Edge is so much better on Smackdown. I hope he can get back to his best cos he's been treading water since Wrestlemania. To be fair to Daniel Bryan he has just finished a programme with Miz

I don't think it's in a bad place, it's changed its business model so adults aren't really who Vince wants to cater for like he did a decade ago. I personally think the product has improved a lot over the past year.

I don't think Vince McMahon has a clue who it is either. I reckon he was hoping for a big name to take the role but it never happened so now he's stuck in a rut with the whole thing
