World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary this week.

The latest WrestleMania 27 opponents being discussed for The Undertaker are Wade Barrett and believe it or not, Kane. As seen this weekend, WWE has planted the seeRAB for a Barrett vs. Taker feud.

Other opponents for Taker that have been discussed over the past month or so are Sheamus and John Cena, although it seems they're steering away from Sheamus trying to break the streak.

But according to a well placed source, the Undertaker/Brock Lesnar confrontation at UFC 121 was a worked angle which took place without the blessing of UFC's President Dana White. Many within WWE have been under the impression that the confrontation was legitimate.

The source in WWE claims that only a handful of people knew going into UFC 121 that a confrontation would take place between the two men post-fight.

As reported, there is no current deal for Lesnar to compete at WrestleMania 27, but it was WWE officials are ultimately hoping for.

Not the best show this week, good in places - notably the advertised match and the bits related to it - but a lot of filler matches and segments (The opening promo, Harts v Cody & Drew, Goldust v Ryder, Natayla v Alicia and the following LayCool promo, the guest host stuff).

The ending was the smoz I expected but battle royales are always fun, even when there's too many people in it to follow all the eliminations until you get to the home stretch.

Not sure what the point of that Nexus ending was, and we're still no further to knowing the status of McGillicutty and Harris - it wouldn't surprise me if they do a run-in at Bragging Rights as they did at HIAC, not being Nexus members (yet) they still have license for another "shock" appearance.

All in all, it was standard fare for a pre-PPV Raw in many respects. The Calgary crowd will be heading home unhappy though, surely it wasn't just me hearing the "We Want Bret" chants sporadically throughout the night?

Night everyone, enjoy SmackDown on Friday and Bragging Rights on Sunday. :)

I think Bragging rights will be the lowest PPV of the year and one of the lowest there has been a string of below average PPV's all with in a few weeks and UFC 24 hours before hand.

they need to look at the PPV's and cut it down, and if they want 13/14 big events then make 1 or 2 of them free on a Saturday evening and advertise it correctly

I have around 1000 wrestling magazines from 1990 uptil 2005 including WWE and WCW's own publications and ones like Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Together with the videos, DVRAB, figures and t-shirts it proves a hobby can often get out of hand when you are lacking room eventually to store it all.

I see Wade Barratt winning the title and once John Cena is relieved of his Nexus duties he will beat the whatsit out of Barratt allowing The Miz to finally capitalise with his MITB case.

Chavo Guerrero as Jack Swagger's eagle will remind many of the Gobbledy Gooker. Wouldn't it be fun to see them battle at Survivor Series. The GG was actually Chavo's uncle Hector, who now is Spanish announcer for TNA, so of course it would need another guy in the costume.

Which is better, the eagle of the Gobbledy Gooker ? - there's only one way to find out !

Yeah, it'd be a lot like the WM 21 story - HHH is champ in January (swap him for Barrett), Batista (Cena) wins the Rumble. Barrett orders him to go to Smackdown and challenge for that title, Cena says no, and demanRAB a one on one shot at Barrett with the title / nexus freedom on the line.

It did, indeed. When they clashed heaRAB, Barrett clearly doesn't give a sh*t and then to make Cena look more pathetic he looks like a midget in comparison. He has bulked up to the point that he should be threatening but looks ridiculous with that face he pulls. Classic.

Barrett is the best thing about the WWE right now and the Americans will do well to keep his development on going. I look forward to Raw merely to see Natayla's titles and Barrett's rants.

It was always obvious this would happen Cena V Barrett as headline at wrestlemania freedom on the line you could see it months ago. I just hope that WWE keep progressing this story in the right way and don't just fumble about waiting for the final showdown.
