Working On Swing Speed/Power?

Im working on both my swing speed and power. I have a hit-a-way and im thinking of using either wrist weights or shoulder weights for that extra workout. Should i use either wrist weights or ankle weights. Both are 2.5 lbs each.

I would use the ankle weights because a lot of the power to your swing comes from the muslces in your legs so I would try working out your calfs and thighs to get more power into your swing and it will obviosly make your entire legs more power which will allow you to run faster.
 
power i have a lot of power and i get hit to the outfield a lot so is that better than having speed
 
i am known for my speed and speed is a virtue a chopper to short or thid can turn into an if single and a hit in the gap of the OF is almost always a double
