I am currently an undergraduate (in the middle of my senior year) in Community Development, similar to urban planning with a minor in urban sustainability. I am considering a Master's of Urban Planning or a MBA. If I go the MBA route, I need 2 years work experience. Would being a personal banker for a major bank be sufficient work experience for a Master's? I'm not sure if I would want to pursue banking after the MBA, but I feel that the bank job would teach many of the skills needed to complete the MBA program. The reason being, it is difficult to find a job with am Community Development degree. Any suggestions?
