Work experience and law school?

I am about to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering from one of the top 4 colleges in the U.S. for engineering. I want to go to law school but not right away. I actually want to work as an engineer for a year or so in order to begin paying off loans and earn some money for law school. I've had some offers from some very competitive companies. I don't want to disclose which ones, but they are definitely notable. For argument's sake, let's say one of them is Microsoft. Does the fact I worked at such a competitive company with a rigorous hiring process make a difference to law schools? I know that my work will have nothing to do with law, but it does require a lot of analytical skills. More so, I beat out a lot of other applicants for the job. Do law schools care about that, or will they only look at my GPA and LSAT scores?
