Word of advice: Dont wast your money on Bose!!!!

If the technology is available for sound to be produced more efficiently on one product than another, then that is a fact. What you like to hear is entirely your opinion, so if you like the tiny stock stereo in your car that cracks up when you turn it up to high, then that's certainly your opinion.

Yes it's a fact. There is no way one single speaker can accurately reproduce the entire sound range at one time without distorting, NOT possible. You should not require a passive EQ on a quality set of speakers yet the BOSE does.

The only Bose product i would buy are the Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Headphones. If you've ever used one of those while on a plane, trust me, you'll never want to fly without them ever again. If you travel alot, you'll find them well worth it and they are much more comfortable than those Shure plugs (i have a pair) or other "noise-blocking" earphones. Everywhere you read, the Bose QC headphones beat the competition in noise cancelling technology and they sound decent too. Screw em for home theatre. Way overpriced for average performance.
