wooden garden sheds vs galvanised steel sheds?

Hi all,

I am thinking of buying a new garden shed and as the title says wooden vs metal. In the past i have always bought wooden ones(i have 3 at present) 1 a kids playhouse and 1 older and newer hut. The reason i ask about which is better is i am sick of painting and leaky roofs on the wooden ones.There must be a better roofing/felting material than the current rough type which breaks up after a while and leaks like mad. I have heard the metal huts suffer with bad condensation but when my wooden one has sprung a leak , all the items in the hut get mouldy as well . So would be most grateful for your help and experience of both types ty.

wood will out last all others,
yes galv metal will rust

with a galvinized shed you will not get rust and you can paint it with a metal paint and it will last forever and a wood shed you have to keep a good cote of paint on it to protect it from wood rot . the wood weathers much easier and is a lot of headache in the long run as you must know , I build galvi sheds all the time for people and never had any complaints
