Wood TW6-6 TW-555 Cam Dyno Test by Fuel Moto

Is Revolution the company that was making the 98" jugs that were nickelsil (spelling) coated? I know there was a myriad of problems with some parts, but I am not certain who or what the problem was.

Springer......this was covered a couple pages ago. Not sure if it was their 98" stuff that had issues, but whatever was causing the problems, is all better now!! I copy and pasted.......

Do you see any reason NOT to use Rev Performance parts Jamie? I'm guessing if you're using them here, you're a believer in their product?

I know they "had" some issues.......all better now?

The quality of the items and the service from Revolution Performance is absolutely top notch which is why we are using them for the machine work and cylinders, they also have no problem customizing work to our specs and are only 50 miles from Fuel Moto. For reference Revolution Performance is also the only manufacturer in the world that offers a Lifetime Warranty on the bore and plating on their cylinders. We have had "several" companies contact us over the last several years wanting us to put together packages using their components however we chose Bobby Wood for his cams and Revolution for the cylinder kits and heads simply because these are both companies with the integrity and product quality we are looking for.

Not saying, just saying. I wouldn't drink the koolaid just yet as this company had issues that were serious and almost brought some performance builders down. These were the same builders who were pumping their products as solid and later not so much...... proceed with caution and do some serious research.

The reason I asked the question in the 1st place is because I DID do some serious research, and didnt like what I saw.

I dont think they (Rev Perf) had a lifetime warranty back then......now they do. Pretty gusty to give a lifetime warranty on something that isnt fixed.

Thanks for the warning........but if I'm getting a lifetime warranty, and Jamie installs the stuff........I'm feeling pretty good.

Also, Rev Perf is only an hour away from me.....if something blows, I'm close enough to go kick some butt......LOL

For what its worth the parts cost for doing cams in my 96" is roughly 800.00. I included hyd cam chain adjusters too but they might be fine.

I have a 2007 Fatboy with a V & H Propipe (2 into 1), a Doherty Machines intake, and a PCIII. It has been Dyno tuned. I almost always ride solo. Thanks for any input.
