Women: When you take your car to a garage do the mechanics assume you know what

Yes, they do. When I start asking questions, they realize that I don't and take the time to explain what is needed to me. I have a good mechanic.
 
I'm a guy but my brother is ASE certified mechanic,and when i took my car to get it inspected,they told me it needs this and that.Well my brother inspected it in his own home garage and said if they say you need this and that,tell them no it doesn't,call the NY authorities cause my brother is ASE certified and all you'll are doing is trying to rip me off.So pull that on them,say your uncle or brother,you know make it up and take control.My bro has 18yrs of experience in cars,he was fired cause he didn't feel right trying to rip people off.
