Women in Metal

Lol you don't even see what your doing, your brothers frienRAB do not count for the entire population of metal heaRAB, im guessing he listens to metalcore etc. and he doen't even count for half of those people either. there are tons of metalheaRAB myself included do not listen to metal because were pissed off and our mommies never loved us, I listen to metal because they are extremely talented not because its angry.

I know you think them music is god awful but you haven't been exposed to it enough to know how good it actually is.

Oh and if you could please give me the links to these places that say that all metalheaRAB are *******s I would very much appreciate it.


because your sitting here arguing over the internet about somthing you don't know enough about to understand.
 
theres nothing stopping women getting involved in metal... but fact is very few are any good at it (hardcore and Avant Garde are a different matter). for most Metal the female vocal range doesnt go well with the music IMO and i hate operaric vocals. There are a few exceptions... but often i dont think it sounRAB right. As for female musicians, theyre as good/bad as the men, just not as common.


but saying Women shouldnt attend shows is sexist. i am as much a fan of music as any guy i know. pits are childish.
 
I can, 90% of chicks at shows are a waste of space. Its not just because they're girls, guys can do the same thing, but girls do it more.
 
Well, I suppose I am a bit biased, as I am a girl and listen to female musicians that I obviously think are good, and to tell the truth the only 'metal women' I have heard were Kitty, and I couldn't stand them.

I just want to stick up for my girls :(

everybody keeps saying Dream Theater are incredibly boring and put them to sleep when it does the exact opposite....nfact the only reason im talking right now is because I have Into Eternity on...
 
Otep, Light This City and Walls of Jericho as well. Awesome awesome stuff. And both those girls could could kick the ass of any guy here. And Candace in Walls of Jericho got THE BEST moshes going at Ozzfest in Detroit. Like circle pits galore, it was insane......and I got punched in the face like twice.:(
 
The style of metal is just more masculine, which is why women are not as common at metal shows as guys. They certainly can be there but the style of metal is usually not appealing to females.
