Women, can it be just sex?

Ok so I know that my ex, who still lives with me, is seeing someone else. I broke her heart, and now want her back. She says she needs time, so I am giving it to her. So my question is this....Can a woman just have sex with someone for sex? She said that is what it is, just sex. She is brutally honest about everything. But last night she was telling me a story about this other girl that wants to just have sex with her once, and she said that she can't just have sex like that....She is still in love with me, she has admitted it to me and the other girl. So is a woman capable of doing all of this to a woman(me), by sleeping with someone else and seeing her while still in love with me, but not come back to me. See I am completely opposite, if I was in her shoes, I would have come back immediately. Are all women like this? Or do some just need time and then come back? I know a lot of ppl with think that she is just stringing me along, but I did hurt her very badly, not by cheating. I gave up to easily on us. She is VERY honest! What do you think?
 
If shes going to sleep with another woman how important could you really be to her? I mean seriously. If she was in love with you, not only could she not do that to you, but she shouldn't even want to if you really broke her heart. I think if shes already been with another girl you should move on....seems like she has.
