Wolfgang Petersen to direct Poseidon adventure remake

according to french site, Petersen is about to write a remake of 1972's Poseidon Adventure movie, starring Ernest Borgnine and Gene hackman.
Warner Bros will produce and deal the movie around the world.

Should be released in 2005.
Cast is still unknown

the flight of the phoenix (original 1965)
King kong (original 1933)
poseidon adventure (1972)

and I presume some others...
