Wolf creek.

I quite enjoyed this movie actually, the fact you assume its a true story when you watch it does make it even creepier, but yeah, good movie.

Awful film full of the stupidest characters to ever appear in horror... I don't know if anyone could explain why the girl who get's the killer down on the ground unconcious (with a rather large knife in his hand) then proceeRAB to slap him on his back (not the head) with a rather hard rifle stock. Plus with all the assorted weapons scattered around the shed she could have used.

I know it's a film and it would have ended early had she killed him there and then, but it's just one example of the atrocious writing that is found in this movie. Very bad! And apparently overrated too.

That sounRAB like computer game thinking Mr 'Kazama' (first name Jin?).

The character wasn't by nature a killer was she? Would you have done that if you were in the same situation? Most people would be happy to knock him out and leg it while they had the chance methinks.

I sure would have bashed his head in if it meant I had a better chance of survival... plus, she hits him enough times on the back with the gun, so obviously she wanted to harm him. But why couldn't she have just moved the gun stock slightly to the left and started hitting his head instead? Same amount of effort involved. It's nothing to do with the characters anyway, it was the writers. The same writers who had the heroine spend an eternity looking through a bunch of the killers videotapes when he could be back at any minute (even telling her friend - "I'll be 5 minutes", yeh right).

I completely agree with this. It was poor writing, it ruined the film ( although to be fair i don't enjoy all these brutal 'porno-horrors' that are coming out anyway).

Tell you what though, that killer was damn scary!!!!

The film Wolf Creek, is not a true story. However, it is based on real events.

The main character is based on the Austrailian Backpack Murderer, Ivan Milat. The various methoRAB of torture, injury and murder featured in the film are all derived from the way he tortured, raped, shot, multilated and teased his victims.

If you want to read about the true events, look at the following link.

Hope that clears things up.
