Wolf characters that are good guys

Often in cartoons, wolves are portrayed as bad guys. It's rare to see a good wolf. Loopy de Loop comes to mind, but nearly everybody he encounters thinks he's bad. And I guess I can add Hokey as well. He seems to be a good guy even though his role is that of a con artist.

Lupe and the rest of the Wolf Pack from Sonic SatAM were freedom fighters so they were good guys. And the wolf in Hoodwinked! was innocent in end. Wolves usually are portrayed as bad so that's about all I can think of.

1. Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers had a wolf who wasn't antagonistic. The episode (which the title escapes me for the moment) has Professor Nimnul using a device which transfers his body structure with another animal (For instance, The Alligator becomes a human, while Nimnul becomes an alligator).

He plants the other device on a wolf at the zoo, allowing him to turn into a wolf, while the actual wolf Harry enjoys some nights on the town in his human form.

2. The Jungle Book is a pretty good example as the main character Mowgli is raise by a family of wolves.

3. Both Bonkers and House of Mouse reveal that The Big Bad Wolf isn't such a bad guy and that his tendencies to blow are an allergic reaction to pigs.

Depending on your point of view, the wolves in Princess Mononoke weren't that bad.

The "Shrek" franchise also reveals that the Big Bad Wolf is not that bad of a guy. Interestingly, they decided to use Little Red Riding Hood as a villain in "Shrek the Third", she appears when the villains first start taking over Far, Far Away.

Snake Eyes' Timber from G.I. Joe is the only other cartoon wolf I can think of who hasn't already been mentioned. You might be able to make a case for the Teen Wolf cartoon, too, I guess.

I suppose Tex Avery's City Wolf/Country Wolf weren't bad guys as such. They just had one-track minds.

In the Beast Wars cartoon, wasn't Silverbolt's beast mode like 1/2 wolf? It's the best I could think of.

I remember watching a cartoon show when I was a kid that I'm pretty sure was White Fang...

Anyway, nearly all the wolves in Wolf's Rain are good guys.
