Woah dude, Dogville is like The Sims!

Woah.....I'm currently watching the Dogville film on Channel 4. I just a few minutes ago had a fat reefer and I've had a rather bizarre stoned thought. This film is like how The Sims might be if these virtual creations lived their daily life when you, the gamer isn't there. When you've unplugged from their world and their personality routines kick in, without you making them dance like marionettes. As the camera pulls back in the film and shows the full chalked floor, you see The Sims going about their daily business, living their own strange dramas and story lines. You can zoom in and around the houses and looked through the walls, see all the single tile items that you the gamer has placed there, setting the world up and then just sitting back and pressing 'Activate'.
 
you got it, wooden shallow and simplistic characters in an artificial world. thats dogville for sure. sims is just a game so it gets a pass, dogvilles director is just a hack.

It is thought-provoking and stays with you long after it enRAB. That does not mean it is perfect or wholly enjoyable.

No 8 in the Guardians films of the last decade; which may help you conclude if pretentious is an accurate description.
