i just wanted to know whos using wm6 on their 6700s or other phones and hows it working with cricket settings and all that. i was reading on ppcgeeks but i just wanted to know how its working for us cricket users. is it worth upgrading? or is there still problems with it. also what other cool moRAB and stuff do yall have on your phones? i saw the iphone skins and i wanted to install it on my 6700 but theres so many out there i just dont know which one will work best on the 6700.
 
i can't tell much difference between wm5 and wm6 although people say it seems to be faster.

i have a 6800 and i can't get mms to work yet, but everything else seems fine.
 
I'm using WM6, and it's full of unwanted stuff. I'm currently stripping it down, and I'm in the process of making my own. Upgrade if you want but there is no real difference in speed or performance.

The 6800 is nice, I'm currently waiting on the all black version.
 
Regarding WM6 on a 6700...

1. It works flawlessly.
2. I think it's a little slower than the wm5 3.5 aku's. I'm not sure if it's because the WM6 release doesnt have any of the speed tweaks or what, but my 6700 seemed a little slower after updating. However, I got my 6800 a week later, so I haven't bothered to look any further into why it's slow.
 
I'm using WM6 on my 6700 and WAP and MMS both work fine. It's noticeably laggier than a C&S WM5 ROM, however. The good news is that Palm Threaded SMS works on it now.

Really, the only benefit of this "upgrade" is that it's pretty. I guess there may be some added benefits down the road, though, like software compatibility.
 
it does look different. I dont like it at all. i love the sprint one, looks way better. Plus IDK if it runs WM5 or 6. But like alltel im sure it if it is wm5 it will be upgraded soon enough.
 
That's ugly! The one I saw on ebay was sprint, and the seller had an all black photo of a xv6800. None of the grey stuff. I don't want a purple phone.
