Sprint/HTC has just released their ROM for windows mobile 6.5. I want to know the best way to reliably backup my contacts and text message history. I have 5000 texts I want to save, but most important is the contacts.
I copied the PIM.vol file to my computer. however, activesync has an error trying to backup my contacts. can I restore my contacts by simply replacing the pim.vol file? will it tell me the pim.vol is in use, and can't be overwritten?
