and a half weeks? I know that ''healthy'' weight loss is around 2 pounds per week, but I also know that a few weeks of losing more isn't going to seriously harm me if I don't use crazy and unhealthy methods. So, I'm 21, female, 5'9 and about 155. I've been pretty much eating not very healthy and haven't been exercising as much as I used to, but I've started (two days ago), to calculate my calories and eat healthy. I eat 1,200 calories a day, getting in 120g protein, under 100g carbs, under 30g fat, under 30g sugar (unless it's from fresh fruits or veggies), and more than 25g fiber. I eat mainly fish, yogurt, fruit, veggies, and low carb, low sugar protein shakes (made with skim milk). I also walk, jog, and run on the treadmill for a total of 5 miles 6 times a week, do 5 sets of ten of push ups, sit ups, and pull ups, and lift (whole body) weights 3 times a week. I get in some more random exercise like rollerblading and playing basketball sometimes as well, and I try to get in 2 yoga and pilates sessions a week. I was doing really good and losing weight regularly up until April, then I got off track and stopped eating right and exercising regularly. I've gained about 12 pounds of what I lost. Since I'm drastically changing my eating and exercising routines I figure I'll lose weight a bit quicker, at least at first until my body re-adjusts. Anyways, I want to weigh around 130-135, so I want to lose about 20-25 pounds. I'm not expecting to lose it all in 3 1/2 weeks, but how much do you think I can lose in this time frame? BTW, I'm not going to be changing my eating and exercising habits, I'm just moving to a new city and getting a "new start" so to speak. Lastly, how long do you think it will take to lose this much? Thanks!
Also, I only drink water or protein shakes and occasionally diet Dr. Pepper, like maybe once a week.
