Run DMC and Grandmaster Flash had elements (or samples) from rock in their music, Madonna can also claim to have some rock in her (namely Lenny Kravits), but in no way shape or form can their be any connection made between ABBA and Rock, thoughts and opinions anyone?
Beatle Fanatic: I agree with your entire list, I mentioned the two rap bands only because they have at least a very thin connection to rock (and at least Run DMC can be credited with leading to the original Aerosmith line up reunion.) The Madonna reference was merely an off color joke on my part.
