...weeks away? Senator Obama has a 9 point lead in recent polls due to the economy crisis. Shouldn't John McCain be anxious to debate in such a critical time? After all, his presence in Washington won't solve the crisis and any ideas he might have will certainly be a subject of the debates. Is he unprepared to take on this crisis in view of the American voters? And if he can't multitask, why would we vote for him? We've had 8 years of a president who could only do one thing at a time and frankly, I'm tired of it.
I'm not citing a poll, I'm trying to discuss the importance of debates during an economic crisis with the election only 6 weeks away. Please let's try not to rant - let's talk about the issue of debate and it's importance to the American people, so that they can make the right choice in their own mind thei November!
Chris G - thanks for an intelligent answer - we will agree to disagree on our candidate choice but I appreciate your intelligence as opposed to most of the Obama bashers.
Regardless of debate subject matter, the debates need to go on! It is six weeks to the election.
