Buying a car under invoice does not mean GM is taking a loss.

A dealership will never sell you a vehicle without at least breaking even. Period.

My son in law just bought a 2009 Silverado Chevy Pickup for $7,000 off sticker price. If they had had another GMC vehicle in the family, they would have knocked off more. They aren't giving them away, but they will certainly deal with you. Now is the time to buy. They are in trouble because of greed and building big gas guzzling and shoddy models.

You assume wrong. They won't start giving them away until after the company completely fails. They will never recover if they start selling all of their cars for a loss. You need to be realistic.
