...questions are...? ...Anti-Obama rants; Or wishful dreaming about losing candidates like Ron Paul or such - Does this mean the majority of Yahoo! answers users are made up of fringe/outside the mainstream voters? Or do you suspect an alternative explanation? What is your view on this possibility?
Iviolare - You don't really read between the lines of polls very well do you? The 41% is just not the number who STRONGLY approve. 65% is the total approval rating. There is a nearly 25% gap between the number of Americans who approve of Barack Obama than disapprove of him; An unusually high number for Presidential approval. Contrast to Bush for example; Who has nearly 30% more Americans in disapproval than approval. The RR report really isn't much different in it's overall findings than most polls.

What are you expecting - Universal approval? Nobody is ever liked by everybody in this life...
Typical far-right fringe - Spades sure don't like being called a spade; Do they??

52% of voters went with Obama in November...that means that at least 48% of voting Americans don't necessarily support Obama...personally speaking, I am proud to be outside of the mainstream voting population. They have proven themselves to be uninformed (on both sides) and easily swayed by propaganda, local politicians, or simple campaign lies. The entirety of my state (MD) except for three counties went red in the most recent election. The three counties that went blue are all low-income, urban counties that were swayed by "get out the vote" campaigns, not based upon voters being informed and making a quality vote, but rather based upon $10 McDonalds coupons and voting for who their minister (who's church is supported by the Maryland Democratic Committee) tells them to vote for. Don't assume too much of the intelligence quotient of the voting public. As long as our country is "one man, one vote" we will never have a legit leader, only the guy that had the most money supporting his campaign.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Approval Index for Sunday shows that 41% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way Barack Obama is handling the role of President-elect

41%

What polls are you referring to?
Those in the tank, wish I had a clue but don't so I'll wing it, one-sided, force feeding, head in the sand, see no common sense, hear no common sense, speak no common sense, liberal media polls? The polls that ACORN helps to answer, you know where every voter gets up to 74 votes each? You mean THOSE polls?

I think that you might get your head OUT of the sand first, before you try to have an intelligent exchange of ideas with real people, not the so called anti-American pollsters you've apparently been duped by.

BO"S APPROVAL RATINGS ARE BECAUSE THE MEDIA AND HOLLYWOOD HAVE HYPED THIS POSER .....At some point reality will kick in and this empty suit won't have any clue what to do!!!!!!!

Look at the thousands of people who are in WASHINGTON and it will answer your question. You can't base a pie eating contest from YA replies. Some people are just idiots.

I think the pollsters aren't asking the right people. If they're only asking liberals, or people in cities, then yeah, Obama is gonna have a lot of support. But the polled people can't just come from one specific area... they need more data, from all over.

"Because you are to dumb to know sorry."

Clearly a dumb answer. It is these kind of answers that make me think that most of the site is by immature kids who simply want to make the adults mad.

I suppose it's the same tired old 20 people asking the same old tired dumb questions....

No they are just Few neo con lunatics with multiple ID's asking, answering and giving thumbs down anything disgrees with them on YA

I suspect that the people who engage in political discussions over the internet are not representative of the population as a whole.

No understanding the big deal over Obama's numbers. Obama hasn't had to make any difficult decisions yet and his current approval ratings were enjoyed by George W. Bush even into Bush's Third year in office with approval in the 70% range.
