Well, too bad:
A) Sony will be shipping assloads in days and weeks to come (quicker than a lot of auctions will end and ship) and this stupidity will be extremely short lived.
and
B) Probably a good 50% of the highest bids are bullshit.

Either way, even with all the scalping going on, Sony is getting their money. The next console may end up breaking the $1000 mark at launch when Sony and Microsoft see this bullshit and all the money they are missing out on.

I was offered $600 for my 360 walking out the door. Turned it down (could have gotten more than that on ebay if i wanted) and told the guy the truth and said "just wait for the next shipment, aint shit good coming out for it before then anyway."
