I've had both of my upper wisdom teeth removed but not the lower ones. I had medicaid a few months ago when I was pregnant but they refused to pull the one that's causing me trouble because of the pregnancy. Well I'm postpartum now and I finally mustered up the money to get it removed. The problem is that the top of it has totally chipped off (causing me immeasurable pain) and most of the tooth is in the gum but I know it's not impacted because of previous x-rays. I'm going to assume that the dentist is going to have to peal the gum down and I was wondering who here has had such an experience and what could I expect to happen. Thank goodness this nightmare will be over in a week.. Thanks for your answers!
