hi i had all 4 wisdom teeth removed on thurs evening about 5 ish in hospital under general anathetic.. my whole lower part of face has swelled up and bruised and i look awful, my mouth is really sore and no matter how mch vasoline i put on they are still cracked dry and horrible. How long will it take for the swelling to go, ive been using ice packs to try and help, they dont really do that much. The inside of my mouth has swollen up too and im finding it hard to swallow my tablets so having to take liquid versions instead. i can eat either really, ive had baby food which gets stuck in my mouth because its thick, jelly which took me a day to eat and some sorbet which is great when melted. however im feeling so weak and in so much pain and its so hard rinsing mouth out and trying to brush my teeth, im scared il catch the wounds and rinsing doesnt get rid of all food, when can i use mouthwash??? .... really need some help i dont know what to do.. im back at work on tuesday and im scared im still going to be in pain and not be able to speak or eat still and have a swollen face.

Think im going to try cheesy mash tonight!! im sick of not eating, plus my family are having indian take away so it will be hard seeing them eat that if i was eating baby food.
