I'm 20, I only have 3 of 4 wisdom teeth (none are grown in, the 4th is just missing). My dentist said i need to have them out soon before the roots develop. He said the one without a matching bottom one will just keep growing in because it will never hit the opposing tooth, and that the two on the other side are impacted. I'm just wondering, what if they never grow any more and just stay as they are without pain or anything.. is that possible? Will there really be any benefit to getting them out sooner rather than later?
