Wireless T3

It looks like it should since it says it works with all Bluetooth 1.1 compliant devices. You should probably ask the question of the seller before you buy though.

I here (through the grapevine) that bluetooth can be a bear to set up .....

I was thinking that I would clip on this adapter to my phone, tap on connect with bluetooth on my T3, and start cruising the internet.

Is this not so?

What sort of "set up" are we talking about?

Will I need to call my cell phone carrier and add a feature of some sort (i.e.- additional charge each month ..... yuck)?

Right now my m515 connects to my Motorola V262 with a cable and I surf the net ...................no problemo!!

Cheers,

O.K.

I've received some useful info. from The Cellular Accessory about Bluetooth and connecting third party app.'s using an adapter. I need someone here (on the forum) to tell me what type of connection the Tungsten T3 will use in conjunction with my cell phone and adapter so that (hopefully) setting it up will not be a nightmare.

Here's the info. I was able to get ......

Bluetooth is a technology, and not a brand. This makes it possible to mix and match virtually any Bluetooth technology device.

The only concern that arises is to determine if the Bluetooth items use the same "profile" to wirelessly communicate with each other, such as "HFR (hands free)", "HS (headset) ", "DUN (Dial-up Networking)", profiles commonly available in many current production cell-phones. ( Check you manual on the Tungsten)

An example of alternate Bluetooth profiles available are "FTP (File Transfer Protocol)", "FP (Fax)", "SAP (SIM)", "LAN (Local Area Network)", "SP (Synchronization)", and many Video & Audio Bluetooth profiles.

Many Bluetooth products only support one profile.

Most current production Bluetooth headsets handle the "headset"
profile, but no other profile.

Car kits generally support ONLY the "hands-free" profile, and a few (especially Parrot car kits) support "hands-free", "headset", & "DUN" profiles.

The Motorola Bluetooth USB Data unit uses a "DUN" profile in addition to "headset" and "hands-free" profiles, AND it is compatible with your V262 now.
