Wireless Internet for PS3?

if i get a wireless router so i can connect to playstation network with out cables would i still have the same speed as my cable connection
 
it gets slightly slower. also you lag more. the connection from the wireless router to the ps3 is why it lags. try to keep it wired... or if you cant.. get a powerline network kit (how it works is that u plug a thing into the wall next to the router and plug an ethernet cable into the router...then take the other plug.. plug the ethernet cable into the ps3 (in this case) and its as if uve always been wired..)
 
wireless router is compatible for ps3. but if you keep your router in the same room, speed will be same as normal modem. otherwise it wont give same reult in terms of speed.
