Do all t-mobile stores do the price matching with wirefly? My stepmom is taking me today to a t-mobile store since the banks are closed and I cant put money in the bank. I really dont want to wait to get it shipped anyways.
Were going to the one in a mall, so does anyone know if they will give me the pearl free?

Nevermind, they said no... But has anyone else done business with wirefly and had good results? the lady at t-mobile said she only heard bad things about it, but it sounded like she was just trying to get me to spend $250

Don't order throught wirefly, It's all after rebates, that you never get.. and if you get the phone its referbished. Spend the money in the store, it's worth it.

It says its all before rebates. Ive gotten to the checkout, and its saying the phone is free instantly. But you have to pay the bill on time, cant cancel it, or lower the plan to a cheaper one within 180 days or they charge you $250 for the phone.

I ordered by Blackberry Pearl from Wirefly. At first I wasn't going to because of all their bad reviews. But then I started noticing everyone was just mad about not getting their rebates.

Then I found some reviews of people who were happy with their experience with wirefly and decided to try it. The pearl came for only a $10 charge for processing and a $50 rebate, which you had to keep blackberry internet on to get. Since I didn't think I would get the rebate and I couldn't afford the internet as of now, I just asked them to shut it off when my phone was activated. Beware though, the data plan should have been on to begin with according to wirefly, but it was not. Maybe something to do with them not wanting you to get the rebate.

Now whether my phone is refurbished or not, there's no telling, but it looked brand new. There weren't any scratches or fingerprints as you can clearly see on this phone.

Be careful. There are more third party companies you can order from such as Amazon.com. When you order from them you do have an agreement with that third party company. My agreement with them does not allow me to lower my rate plan, use the device with another carrier or even another t-mobile account, and a few others I can't remember, unless I want a fee. I can't remember what it is, but it's about $200-$300. Since I don't have any other wireless accounts or plan to change my rate plan or anything I didn't care about all this.

Overall I have been happy with my experience with Wirefly SO FAR. I guess that's about all I can say. Hope this helps.

Hi, I'm a noobie, so I'm not sure how the mods feel about posting links, but I got my Pearl through letstalk.com. I had absolutely zero problems with them and the phone cost me nothing out of pocket, nothing! Infact, in addtion to the instant rebates that made it free, it came with an additional $50 mail in rebate, so in essence they paid me $50 to get it. Same exact plans as t-mob too, I checked. I have had no problems with letstalk's service or the phone.

Since I'm new, I can't post the actual link, but if you go to the website main page, in the top right corner it shows "Best Seller" and the Pearl is the 4th one down.

I hope this is of use to you!

Check the warranty. 99% of the time if the warranty is the same as listed directly through T-mobile, then it's not a refurbished item. Almost always refurbs have shorter warranties.

As far as changing plans, you probably are more restricted. But if you change plans through your carrier, with a phone purchased through the carrier, they are probably going to want you to extend the contract.

I haven't used wirefly but I have used letstalk.com along with four other people in my office. All have had very successful transactions and gotten their rebates in a prompt manner.

Another way of looking at is if you have to pay $250 for the phone or $250 to cancel a contract, you end up pretty much the same place. Except if you are happy with the service, you don't need to cancel at a future date and you are $250 ahead.

I have used wirefly and received 3 free phones from them. They had no rebates. I received an 8700, Razor V3 and another phone. (can't remember the name). As far as them being refurbished, I really don't think so. These phones were in immaculate shape. I placed an order with them on Monday and received all 3 phones that Friday. No problems whatsoever.....

I got my pearl there months ago through Amazon. No problems at all and free two day shipping. T-mo messed up my $50 rebate, so I'm still waiting on that, but otherwise the phone was free with service contract.

Hello all,
I purchased three phones from wirefly( 8100, 8700, and pearl) all of the phones were free before the rebates. The pearl had a $50 rebate, razr (2) $50 rebates and 8700 (1) $50 rebate but I substituted the rebate for a cheaper voice plan. Everything that Goosie said seems pretty true to me. Just pay the bill on time and don't downgrade your plan our you'll be charged a penalty ($200-$300) The shipping on each phone was pretty quick, however it took a while for my 8100 to be ported. The phones all seemed to be new in condition. The only downside about wirefly is their customer service. Buy hey who really has good customer service nowadays :{ )? Well..... TMO. They have the best customer service yet compared with other carriers. Good luck!

T-Mobile has great customer service....Been with them for years and they've always been very helpful and usually dead-on with any support issues.
