Winx Club vs Totally Spies and Witch

Witch show do you like the best? I like Totally Spies better because it has alot more action in it and I like Sam Alex and Clover better than the winx girls and the Witch girls. I also like the back ground muisc in Totally Spies better.

Let's see...

Winx Club - I like how Bloom is brings a bit of Earthly culture to the magical world or wherever they are. (Sorry I haven't watched since 2006). The animation can be a bit stiff though and there's lots of off-screen talking.

Totally Spies - I like how each girl has their own unique personalities and the action isn't that bad. I like the older episodes more than the new ones.

W.I.T.C.H - It's a very good show, imo but some of it can be confusing. Like what's Will's power, just to make the transform? Why is Caleb so comfortable around modern stuff? It just seems like he's not as surprised by some things.

I don't know, I'm too indecisive right now.

Sorry, but I still don't think it's fair or logical to try to compare Winx Club to Totally Spies, as the 2 shows have next to nothing in common beyond both being European animated shows with female protagonists. If there's any alleged correlation between these 2 shows, please explain.

And Winx versus W.I.T.C.H. is an old-as-the-hills debate that I personally refuse to take part in, since both shows have their respective strengths and weaknesses.

But that's just me.

At the risk of sounding dense, what's the connection between these 3 particular choices? Is it that they're all "girl" shows? Because if that's the case, you could have just as easily thrown in The Powerpuff Girls or Sailor Moon for good measure.

What I don't get is why are we limited to choosing between just those 3 shows and no others? Especially now that you've just now stated that there is no connection. If that's indeed the case, then why specifically Totally Spies, Winx Club and W.I.T.C.H.? If you just want to know which show(s) that we like, why not just create a thread asking that?

But to answer your question, I don't really have a preference. I've seen all 3 and can't pick a favorite out of them. Besides, Justice League Unlimited owns them all.

Respectfully, I must disagree. In order to accurately place one show above another in terms of quality, there must logically be some sort of correlation. I mean I could say that The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is a better show than The Wizards of Waverly Place, but that wouldn't be a fair or logical assessment since the 2 shows share no common ground; the styles aren't the same, the content isn't the same, they represent different genres and they're not aimed at the same audience. So how can anyone say that so-and-so show is better than such-and-such show without there being any common thread between them? It's like saying that Valvoline is a better product than Alka-Seltzer; they do totally different things, so how can you claim that one is better?

If you were comparing ER to Chicago Hope or American Dragon Jake Long to The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, then that would make sense since those shows do have some similarities, but this assortment of shows is random and pointless.

Without having anything in common, it's nothing more than people stating which shows they like and don't like, and that's all opinion, which can't be debated. You could easily have chosen any 3 shows, not these just 3 specifically, and therefore, there was no need to do this as a poll; you could've just started a general thread asking, "Which shows do you like and which ones do you dislike?"

That's all I'm saying.

Kind of hard to compare them, but I vastly prefer W.I.T.C.H. over the other two. It had awesome plot development that kept you guessing with twists in every episode, creative uses for their powers, and the best villain in a kids show since David Xanatos and Lex Luthor. Plus it was a fantasy show, which is pretty rare these days. Winx Club was alright, but the lack of creative powers turned me off. It seemed like they all just shot different colored energy beams most of the time, while in W.I.T.C.H. the girls manipulated the enviorment and did all sorts of crazy stuff. Totally Spies is fun for what it is, but it doesn't put focus on plot or anything, and I prefer shows with a plot.

^No need to get angry; the question (such as it is) has already been answered. For those who may have missed it, here it is again:

I don't have a favorite among these shows. Winx Club and W.I.T.C.H. each have their fair share of positives and negatives, so I like them both equally. And while I can't accurately compare Totally Spies to either show, since it's completely different in terms of premise and genre, in terms of quality and execution, I like TS less than the other 2.

In any event, I'm out. I don't argue with kids.

I've watched and enjoyed all three of these shows, but from what I've watched, I'd say W.I.T.C.H. is the best of the three and that's what I voted.

Totally Spies - Caught it right from the start when it debuted on the old Fox Family Channel (now ABC Family) in 2000. Being an old anime fan, I always felt the concept was brilliant. It was fresh and fun. While I still like it, I wish the creators could have put a bit more variety in it, along with some better character development along the way. Still, I hope we'll get to see that fifth season in the U.S. (c'mon CN!), as well as the planned feature.

Winx Club - It's a fairly enjoyable show, though a bit too simplistic for me. From what I've seen and heard, it really suffers from the edits 4Kids made in thier version--it just doesn't flow right and seems choppy. I'm gonna start watching the RAI English dub which I suspect might raise my opinion of it.

W.I.T.C.H. - Disney really did a great job on this show, if not how it was promoted here in the States. I remember they started airing previews of it like six months before it actually aired--I wondered what was taking so long. Then, by the time it aired, Winx Club had been quickly added to the 4Kids lineup and pretty much always did better in the ratings. Soon after the second season started airing, ABC Family stopped airing it (along with all toons) and Disney pretty much buried it. I still have hope that they will eventually do another season, as it's pretty popular in Europe. One of the best theme songs in recent memory (the original mix, not the one currently heard).

I agree with Blackstar and Silverstar on how all three of these shows don't really have any common ground that I think is needed to have a favorite poll. Other than the fact that all three series are centered on a group of girls with special abilities, magical or just physical, they don't have anything in common. I also remember reading some Winx vs. W.I.T.C.H threads before and they're like apples and oranges to me. I'll just throw in my two cents anyway.

I unfortunately haven't seen all of W.I.T.C.H., but I do think that it is the best out of all three. I loved its plot, the character designs, the action that moved along with the plot and I did enjoy pretty much all of the characters. I would have seen more of it, but ABC Family didn't have Jetix anymore and I can't get Toon Disney anyway.

Winx comes at a close second for me. Yes, the 4Kids dub did alter the dialouge, but I was basically content with what I got. It had farily simple animation, but I thought that it worked with the character designs and I thought that it was a nice take on magical worlds and universes. Personally, I thought that season two was the best in terms of character development, Bloom and her relationship with Sky in particular, and providing an interesting storyline.

Totally Spies is my least favorite of the three. I never was interested in the characters. I felt like the show had too much of the sterotype of teenage girls, focused on shopping, clothes and all of their gadgets being based on what people could call girl stuff kind of lost me, despite the fact that I am a girl. Of course, I dislike the consumer image that teenage girls to begin with.

It's not a debate, it's a point of fact: Winx is a complete rip-off of the show W.I.T.C.H., and would be even more similar to W.I.T.C.H. except for threatened lawsuits, for which RainbowSR1 made changes to their show (the ripoff).

I picked Totally Spies because I like the idea of a group of teenage super spies. I only like comic book version of W.I.T.C.H and Winx Club is ok but I'm not interested in it.

I felt that WITCH had the best storyline of those three. Totally Spies was good for a laugh or two. Winx Club I was not fond of but it could be because of the 4Kids version.
