Hey, Winx fans!:)

I just found out some fantastic news from michaelsfavorites.com: a fourth season of Winx Club is planned for 2009!:D I guess since the "Secrets of the Lost Kingdom" has been doing so well in Europe, they decided to continue the series!:D

Oh, they also say that a second movie is planned for Christmas, 2009 in Italy!:D I can't wait to hear what THAT will be about!;)

This is fantastic news! I can't for new adventures of my favorite Winx girls as well as the boys from Red Fountain! My 3 fave couples are: Sky & Bloom, Timmy & Tecna, and of course Helia & Flora!!! They're the best!!!:) :anime: :D

LONG LIVE WINX CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

I'm pretty sure that the first movie came out in Italy about a year or so ago and is already out on DVD there. Since 4KidsTV is airing the third season again, I think that there's a good chance that they'll be interested in it enough to at least put it out on DVD. I'm not sure if it would do well enough in theaters here, but I'm sure that the movie will at least get DVD treatment.

Well, this is surprising news. I heard that there is a second movie coming out, but most places I've run across have said that they wouldn't continue the series. Personally, I'm glad that Winx Club gets another season since the third one ended pretty weakly, despite how the movie was supposedly going to end the series. I always thought of Winx Club as one of those shows where I could just kick back, relax and just enjoy the moment of its events. It will be nice to see when Winx Club gets that new season and movie, not to mention when the first movie will come out here.

I thought for the longest time 4Kids was getting rid of Winx Club, and all other mainly female-oriented shows. I remember reading that somewhere.. my sources could've been completely wrong, though.

Either way, this is wonderful news. I loved that show. (Despite the fact that I haven't even finished watching what is out right now. I really need to get the rest of the DVDs.)

I also didn't know there was a movie for the series. I feel so behind in information now. - I hope this really does prove promising for the movies, and the new season to be released here in the US.

Wow, a new season that late? I've only seen a few episodes of Winx Club and thought it was enjoyable. I don't know if 4Kids is doing anything with the movie, but I'm hoping they'll eventually air it as a TV movie and release it on DVD.

Season 4 will almost certainly air on The CW4Kids sometime in the future. 4Kids will probably even give it some kind of subtitle and call it a new Winx Club series since the gap between airing season 3 and 4 will have been pretty long.

I think that most people were expecting that the first movie would finish off the series. But considering how well it actually did in theaters, it isn't too surprising that its getting a new season. For all we know, it might just be a new series, and not a season, because of that gap between season three and season four. Of course, its always kind of confusing when information like this is released since officials often use season and series like they're the same thing. So we'll probably just have to watch and see what information they have for the new season to see if it is a season or a new series.

Yes, but the difference is Winx Club was actually successful here, and didn't get canned after 16 episodes.

I'd say that there's a 90% chance that 4Kids will pick the new season up.

You can't compare the two, Funky Cops flopped, Winx Club didn't.

Yet, for some reason 4Kids seems to still be holding onto Funky Cops. If I'm not mistaken Funky Cops is available on 4Kids TV's VOD right? I don't see how they can have that but not Shaman King. Seriously, Shaman King was more successful than Funky Cops.

There's no reason for them not to pick up the new season. Winx Club is still on TV, so it's not like anyone will have forgotten about it.

The presence of Funky Cops on the website is somewhat of a mystery though, I mean, why that and no Shaman King or Ultimate Muscle. Those are the two series I wanted on the site the most to begin with actually but I think their licenses have or are about to expire.

Um.. no. Winx Club was made to cash in on recent trends that were popular in Europe (specifically, W.I.T.C.H. and Harry Potter), it's about girls who go to a magic school to train and learn about their powers, while fighting evil witches and wizards and whatnot.

I always thought that Bratz was like smaller, teenage Barbies and Kens that went through stereotypical situations that boys and girls often go through in television. Winx Club, on the other hand, usually has at least some more focus on the magic and fighting than on what most would call "girl stuff." Besides that, Gryph also had a good point on how it was made to reflect popular trends like W.I.T.C.H. and Harry Potter.

I also think that there are more reasons for 4Kids to license the new season than there are reasons for them not to. They had it on their website and still made a couple of commercials for it. Not to mention they started to air season three again because of how successful it was online. Since the series has been relatively successful for them, I think that the chances are pretty good that they'll get the new season here, as well as the first movie, at some point.
