Winx Club is back!?

As of this weekend, CW 4 Kids has bought back Winx Club airing after Gogoriki (which has now cut back to once a week on the CW 4 Kids Saturday lineup). Why is that?

I noticed that too.

I think it has something to do with contract expirations / nullifications.

IIRC, Winx Club was developed SPECIFICALLY for 4Kids Fox. Since fox failed to follow through with their agreements with 4Kids, 4Kids broke off their relation with Fox.

4Kids may have finally got the rights freed up and moved the series to CW.

This is all supposition though.

I do have a question, was it a new episode?

They're starting at episode 1.

My bet is they're getting viewers pumped for season 4. That is, if they even plan bring it over, which wouldn't surprise me considering it's one of 4Kids most popular shows of all time.

I also think that they're wanting to get viewers excited/interested in the series for season four. Although, the 4Kids rep on their channel continues to say that there isn't any word on season four for Winx Club or even the movie. Despite that, I think that it's quite possible for them to do bother considering it was one of the most watched series on their website. Besides, the fact that they are airing the series again leads me to believe that they're still interested in doing something else with the show.

I knew it had to happen sooner or later, CW4Kids airing Winx Club episodes.:p

Although it IS nice to have Winx Club back on the air, I just wish we could have it UNCUT the way it should be.:crying:

Regardless, as I've said before, I'll ALWAYS love Winx Club!!!:D I can't wait to see season 4!:anime:

I don't think that S4 is coming here, as well as the movie. The creator of Winx Club said that he didn't want a new dubbing to the original scripts. The movie was successful in Italy, that there will not be a coming to America of the film that leads to S4.

This is all NOT true. Winx Club was NOT specifically created for the Fox network. Fox also did NOT fail in their negociations with 4Kids. 4Kids chose not to renew their Fox-affiliate contract and opted for a new contract with CW/WB, taking over the previous KidsWB Saturday morning block. CW has a more viewing audience then Fox-affiliate stations. In phasing out some KidsWB shows and working in 4Kids shows, some came on right away, such as Chaotic, and others took longer to make it in, such as Winx Club. 4Kids has always had the rights to Winx Club for USA.

A lot of 4Kids' shows started on either Fox or the old WB, then moved over to the other eventually. Except for some that already had their run ended, or got cancelled. Besides, those guys haven't even realized that there's actually a Winx Club movie out in Europe.
