Back around 1982, the extended family x-mas was called off because of -20 weather. Windchill made it much colder.
A year later, Christmas eve day was 60. But only that day, the day before and after was in the 40's.
Which reminds me, I always remember watching the weather, and just south of Chicago ( about 60 miles) there is always a line of demarcation. What kind of line? The line that says 30's north of it and says 40's south of it. Always that line between "a bit warmer and a bit colder."
Although it's still better than Minnesota. Or some of the members here from Canada. If I lived there, I wouldn't post all 8 good weeks of riding they get.
