Winter season 2009/2010 season

Yeah, what's going on this season? Gainax returns with a new show directed by Seiji Mizushima and not only does it look ridiculous, but it has a poor chance of being blogged. For that matter, how the hell does the new show in the Queen's Blade timeslot, with a trailer full of nipples like always, have a decent chance? Vampire Bund doesn't look bad, but the main character seems to be a loli whose always naked, or at least enough to show her nipples as well, yet it's not only one of two series guaranteed to be blogged, but he claims it's the one he's most excited about.

Needless has an awsome OP..full of raw engergy..but the ED is perverted Lolita FAIL!

I've yet to she the show itself, but from what I have seen from the OP & Ed, it seems like one of those shows that could be good, but gets drawn down by cliches & Innuendo!

I'm glad Omni's blogging the two series I'm really the most interested in, Vampire Bund and Durarara!

Stuff I'm guaranteed to see
-Vampire Bund
-Durarara!!
-COBRA: The animation
-SoRaNoWoTo (Shut up! It looks interesting!)
-Ookami Kakushi
-Hidamari Sketch Hoshimitsu

Stuff I'll check out the first epi for.
-Ladies vs. Butlers (anything with Rie Kugimiya deserves a first episode watch for me....yes even Queen's Blade.....)
-Chu-Bra (only because it's on CR)
-Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu
-Katanagatari

Stuff I'm not really interested in.
-Omamori Himari (I've heard that the manga is like in the 40's and has so far hit on every fetish. While intriguing.... I'm sure there's better)
-Kaitou Renya
-Hanamaru Youchien (Maybe if you put it on CR)
-Nodame Finale

Stuff that can go burn in the pits of hell with Queen's Blade, Juuden-chan and Dragonaut
-Seikon no Qwasar

I saw the first episode of Ladies vs. Butlers and the blonde girl looks like her hair could do a Giga Drill Breaker

Because the main guy character actually commented on her drill hair and Rie Kugimiya is in it playing a reverse-trap, I'll see where this goes.

I just realized that Vampire Bund, Durarara and Ookami Kakushi are being released on the same day as that awesome game Bayonetta.

Best. Day. Ever.

I've just gone a read a big chunk of the manga and I really like it. The point of showing her murdering soldiers and sucking blood is not to humanize her but show that shes a monster, not a little girl like she looks. Though her more humane side is revealed as the story goes on. It quite a fast pace action packed story as well. I'd say its now a must see for me.

here the list I am going to follow this season I know this is late but all well

like I said before not too much for me this season.

my list

so wa no wo to

noadame cantablie final

baka to test to shoukanjuu

hidamiri sketch

hopefully spring will be better

Thursdays look great.

To recap once more, I'll watch:

Hidamari Sketch Season 3 (interestingly enough, it's around the same time season 1 arrives in the US)

Durarara (joining in the hype machine for this one)

Dance In The Vampire Bund (I haven't seen a series this violent since Higurashi, and yes, I'm mostly watching it for the bood splatter and how the plot is gonna work out)

Chu-Bra (Again, GANSIS' involvement in this is the reason why I'm watching this)

There were other shows I was interested such as Ookami Kakushi, which was interesting until I read this part; "and a boy who recently moved there gets warned not to go near the old part". Yeah, I'm getting tired of a male protagonist being involved in main horror plots. To make things less surprising, it has the creators of Higurashi (Ryukishi07) are involved. Why do they have a hard-on about a male protagonist moving out to a place with dark secrets?

Ladies vs Butlers sounded interesting, but I guess I got too fooled at the title.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu also sounded interesting, but I need to wach the first episode for it in order to get on my list, if it's interesting enough.

It got delayed.

yes, i must also join the hype (its strong), before i knew nothing, but now it sounRAB pretty awesome.

youd be better off reading the manga IMO, its only an ok gag series (nothing special), i personally couldn't bear sitting through 20 something minute episodes of an anime like that, but a quick read is ok.... again, only my opinion.

The Sasameki Koto finale ended with a commercial for it, and Crunchyroll left it in and subbed it, so I wouldn't be surprised if they simulcasted it. If so, I'll definitely check it out.

First impression with Soranowoto:

Really beautiful. Sort of a casual Last Exile feel, but it's going to take a while to stop referring to K-on.

Well, fans do conveniently forget that HE IS MY MASTER and MAHOROMATIC are Gainax shows as well.

So they do dip into boring and generic territory now and then.
