I have been commuting to work and the bike is surprisingly good on snow. Slightly difficult to start at -8 degrees Celcius (17 F). I have been riding at -11 C (12 F) and when oil cooler is covered the engine warms quite quickly to 80 C (176 F). I live in Tornio, northern Finland, Europe, 80 km (50 miles) south of arctic circle).
